Cecil & Larter links up with charity to help drive forward fundraising effort
Liz Spillane Corporate Fundraiser of St. Nicholas Hospice, Bury St Edmunds - met owner and Managing Director Ray Cawston to see if the Mildenhall Road-based business could support the Hospice in its fundraising efforts.
Currently the Hospice has more fundraisers than pool cars, so Liz asked Mr Cawston if he could support the charity with the loan of a car.
Liz said: "As a charity, it's important that we get the Hospice’s name out into the local community to explain the good work we are doing.
"The fact we only had two cars limited us in what we could do.
"Therefore the fact that Cecil and Larter have agreed to support us is invaluable in helping us to spread our message to the local community.”
Ray added: "We have supported a variety of charities over the years and when St Nicholas Hospice Care approached us it was very hard to say no.
“Initially, we have loaned the car to them until the end of the year. However, we have not ruled out extending our support beyond 2013."
