When Georgia was 13 years old she had to have her colon removed after becoming seriously ill.

Georgia's case has proved complex and since her first operation she has been in and out of hospital constantly. Last October, on her 15th birthday she was rushed to Addenbrooke's Hospital for life-saving surgery.

Her family were supported at Acorn House, including her older sister Alex who was able to study for her GCSE's in the quiet room and be at her much-loved sister's hospital bedside.

Georgia is currently at home and has a great spirit! And to say thank you to The Sick Children's Trust, her Mum's colleagues at Cecil & Larter Ltd; Volvo & SEAT, Bury St Edmunds are doing a 90 mile cycle ride in celebration of 90 years in business to raise awareness and money for us.
