The sporty S40 R-Design combines a body-kit, rear spoiler, 17" 5-spoke aloy wheels, and the front grille and side mirrors are finished in a special silver-matt, giving it a different attitude to the rest of the range. Inside, there are superbly comfortable seats with unique upholstery and a sports-style steering wheel, gear knob, pedals and floor mats.

S40 ES. The comprehensive specification includes ECC (Electronic Climate Control), 16” alloy wheels, DTSC (Dynamic Stability and Traction Control), passenger airbag cut-off switch, power windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, information centre, floor mats, a CD system and auxiliary input for MP3 player.

S40 SE. The SE model brings added luxury to the Volvo S40 Saloon. Textile/T-Tec upholstery, aluminium inlays,cruise control with sterring wheel remote controls, 17” Serapis alloy wheels, autofolding power door mirrors with ground lights and fog lights.

S40 SE LUX. The most luxurious version of the S40 offers leather-faced upholstery, 17" Spartacus alloy wheels and active bending xenon lights with headlight cleaning system.

S40 R-Design . The striking exterior lines are enhanced with a full body-kit and 17" Cratus alloy wheels, lowered sports chassis and R-Design logo on the grille. The unique interior is complemented with embossed leather/T-Tec upholstery, sports steering wheel and a unique aluminium inlay.

S40 DRIVe. DRIVe is a series of modifications, adjustments and enhancements designed to make it easy to reduce both your impact on the environment and your running costs. All S40 1.6D DRIVe models come with Start/Stop technology to produce only 104 g/km CO2, and fuel consumption up to 72.4 mpg (based on the combined cycle) which means there is no vehicle tax to pay.
