VOLVO CAR FINANCIAL SERVICES – FUNDING OPTIONS
Choosing the right car goes hand-in-glove with finding the right financial package too. And, just as you’d expect from Volvo, there are a range of products to make your life easier.
VOLVO CAR PURCHASE PLAN
This traditional scheme allows you to buy your car by paying, after the initial deposit, in simple, equal amounts at a fixed rate.
· Suitable for non-VAT registered customers
· Choose from a range of deposits
· Choose your repayment period (up to 5 years)
· Regular fixed instalments
· At the end of the agreement, you own the car (you may settle the agreement at any time)
VOLVO CAR FLEXIBLE PURCHASE PLAN
Just like the Volvo Car Purchase Plan, with the added benefit of allowing you to defer part of the cost of your Volvo until the end of the agreement. This allows you to tailor the instalments to suit your budget.
· Choose from a range of deposits
· Choose the length of the agreement from 12-48 monthly instalments to suit your cashflow need
· Volvo agree a final payment – taking into consideration the age, mileage and use of the car
· At the end of the agreement you pay the final payment before taking ownership of the car (you may settle the agreement at any time)
VOLVO CAR ADVANTAGE PLAN
The same as the Volvo Car Flexible Purchase Plan with the added advantage that the final payment (guaranteed to be the minimum worth of the car) is optional – if you don’t wish to pay you can exchange or return the car to Volvo.
· Choose from a range of deposits
· Choose the agreement length from 12, 24, 36 or 42 monthly payments to suit your cashflow needs
· A Guaranteed Minimum Future Value is set by Volvo taking into consideration the age and mileage of the car. This value is used to set the optional final payment
At the end of the agreement you have three options regarding the final payment:
· You can part-exchange the car against another Volvo. The GMFV is deducted from the part-exchange and any excess can be used as a deposit on your new Volvo (you can sell the car privately and keep the profit over the GMFV)
· Buy the car outright by paying the GMFV
· Return the car to Volvo Car Finance with nothing else to pay, subject to mileage and condition
VOLVO CAR INSURANCE – COVER THAT STANDS OUT

VOLVO ASSISSTANCE
Volvo Assistance is free for the first year you own your Volvo. After that, cover can be purchased at a specially negotiated price. You could mislay your keys, suffer a puncture, or simply run out of fuel. All it takes is one phone call to the dedicated Volvo Assistance freephone number (0800 246888) and a Customer Service Specialist will co-ordinate the resources to resolve the problem. You’ll be on the move again quickly, with minimal disruption to your plans. Volvo Assistance gives you:
· Service at your home or the roadside, including recovery of your car and up to seven passengers to any Volvo Dealer in the UK. If your car cannot be repaired immediately, cover provides either hotel accommodation, onward travel or an alternative vehicle for up to 48 hours.
· One year’s free cover from the date of vehicle registration. Subsequent years are available at a specially negotiated price. Volvo Assistance covers the car – including anyone driving with your permission. To find out more contact Cecil & Larter.
EXTENDING YOUR WARRANTY
Volvo can offer the option to extend the period and mileage limit of the standard 3 year/60,000 mile warranty. This enables customers, who intend keeping their Volvo beyond the manufacturers warranty period, to enjoy a similar level of protection for an extended period.
Main Features and Benefits:
Cover option 1 – Extends your current 3 year/60,000 mile manufacturer warranty to 4 year/60,000 miles whichever comes sooner
Cover option 2 – Extends your current 3 year/60,000 mile manufacturer warranty to 4 year/80,000 miles, whichever comes sooner
· All cover options include the following features:
· All major mechanical and electrical parts cover – parts that are not covered are listed, you are covered for everything else
· Full parts and labour cover – we pay the full costs of genuine Volvo parts and the labour time required to fit them
· Claim limit is unlimited – the only limit to the amount you can claim is the price you paid for the vehicle
· Available at any time up till 3 years/60,000 miles – if you choose not to buy at the time of purchase of the new vehicle, you can purchase later but prices may vary
All cover options include the following additional benefits:
· Recovery charges – covers costs attached to recovering your vehicle to the nearest authorised repairer
· Replacement vehicle – keeping you mobile in a ‘like for like’ vehicle
· Overnight hotel expenses – helping with unexpected expenses

VOLVO SERVICE PLANS
Volvo Service Plan and Service Plan+ are designed to spread servicing costs on an interest free monthly basis and provide you with peace of mind which is both economic and convenient. Both products are available to purchase on all new Volvo models up to four months from the date of first registration.
Whichever option you choose your costs are fixed no matter what happens to labour, parts or oil prices. You will also have the satisfaction of being able to have your Volvo serviced with Cecil & Larter. Volvo Service Plan+ in addition to Volvo Service Plan provides up to 5 years warranty and Roadside Assistance.
