Satisfied customers since the 1920s... Cecil & Larter was founded in the 1920's and has always been in private ownership. The business was very successful in the early decades but when Volvo awarded the company the franchise for the Bury St. Edmunds area in 1970 a whole new era of support and service developed. Cecil & Larter has developed into a multi-franchise group since those early days and now represents the SEAT brand, as well as Volvo for sales and after sales, Cecil & Larter also represents Saab for Servicing and Parts. All three brands are based at the company’s headquarters on Mildenhall Road in Bury St Edmunds at a site ideal for modern car retailing.
