Life is anything but predictable. Perhaps now more than ever. If you happen to be a car designer, where does that leave you? Well, if you happened to be a part of the team behind SEAT Altea, you would answer with one word: versatility. To put it another way, before we thought about our plans, we thought about yours.
The new Altea's restyled headlights are availanle with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS), whilst foglights include a cornering Function. But you can still choose the bi-xenon option - bi-xenon lights are brighter than conventional halogen headlights, and consequently less tiring for the driver's eves. The grille is new, along with the door mirrors, bumpers and wheels - the SE model comes with 16 inch alloys. The Sport goes one better, with 17 inch versions.

ALTEA S/S Emocion. When used on the new Altea S, the word 'standard' seems almost insulting. However, some of the standard equipment that comes with this vehicle includes a chrome-framed radiator grille, a redesigned tailgate with new rear lights, a new wider rear windscreen, tinted windows, redesigned side mirrors, windscreen wipers that are integrated into the front pillars and smart 15'' wheel trims. Plus we've given it a new three spoke steering wheel and a redesigned gearshift knob.

ALTEA SE. Some of the extensive equipment on the new Altea SE includes a new front bumper in body colour with integrated mouldings, new chromed grilles, a redesigned tailgate with new rear lights, a new, wider rear windscreen, tinted windows, and new door handles and folding electric and heated mirrors in body colour with electrical park position. There is even an on board computer with cruise control. Plus a new, leather-covered gearshift knob and three spoke steering wheel with integrated controls and DSG paddle shifters (for cars specified with this transmission).
