Ecomotive Range
Each of us plays a role in the way the world is shaping up, and the decisions we make every day affect the planet we live on. We all leave a carbon footprint measured in units of CO2 (carbon dioxide), and the cars we drive contribute to that CO2. At SEAT, we call this a carbon tyre print and we are determined to do something about it. In general terms, we already have in place an Environmental Management System, looking at ways our people and our parts can be more ecoconscious. We ensure that our workforce participate fully in environmental care, whatever their position, and we apply the principle of 'prevention before reduction, reduction before re-use, and re-use before recycling' to all our parts. Cutting CO2 emissions is vitally important to us. But we also believe that, when it comes to cars, reducing emissions shouldn’t be at the cost of the driving experience. And that’s exactly the principle we have applied to our expanding ECOMOTIVE series, offering choice instead of compromise.

Ibiza Ecomotive The new Ibiza Ecomotive is the greenest in the SEAT range. Its 1.4 TDI 80PS engine boasts a CO2 emission level of just 98 g/km. An engine fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to reduce harmful particle emissions. We also reduced the Ibiza Ecomotive's weight, making it leaner and therefore more eco-friendly.

Leon Ecomotive The New SEAT Leon Ecomotive comes equipped with one of the most efficient and innovative engines in the SEAT range; the 1.9 TDI 105PS. This marvel of engineering has seen further improvements to its electronic management; optimising the central control unit and tweaking the gear ratios resulting in reduced CO2 emissions by 14.3% to 119 g/km.
