Cecil & Larter Cricket Team
The Cecil & Larter All Star Cricket Team had it's first game of the season on the 24th June. Our opponents, joint sponsors with us of the Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club, Green King plc.
Cecil & Larter Captain, Adam Horrex, won the toss and put Green King into bat. Some excellent bowling and fielding kept the run rate low and the wicket-take steady. Green King eventually posting a target of 126. The Cecil & Larter opning pair soon racked up the runs and were well supported by the following batsmen. The run target was eventually passed with four overs to spare.
